David Kurdelak

David has been a member of Fools Paradise for over 5 years. The drumming bug bit him after seeing KISS in 1976. David started out playing Jazz and then quickly switched to Rock after breaking his drum instructor’s bass drum pedal. Laying into the bass drum pedal was only the start. He loves cymbals, most drummers have maybe 5 or 6 on a kit, David uses 12 and uses them very creatively.

David played with many different bands during the years from Rock, Metal, and Progressive Rock to Country. Some of his drumming influences are Mike Portnoy, Steve Smith, Nicko McBrain, Thomas Lang, Chester Thompson, Gavin Harrison, among others.
