Nick began writing short stories when he was
7. A few were even sent out to publishers. In elementary school many of his
teachers encouraged him to write, by allowing him to write his stories instead of doing
the same work as the other students. At age 11, Nick began to ask
his folks for a guitar. By age 15, he decided that if his parents wouldn't buy him
one, he'd have to get one on his own. You would think that being under the legal
working age might pose a problem, but not for Nick. In no time, he was working at a local
car wash, where he earned enough money to buy his first guitar (a used 30 year old Sears
and Roebuck Catalog Special) and an amp with one 12" speaker. Nick taught
himself to play and began setting music to his stories.
His influences include Tool, The Cult, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Led
Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Jethro Tull and Black Sabbath (his first album was Pink Floyd - The
Dark Side of the Moon).
Nick has been a member of various local bands abd he was the front
man of Paradox and Wild Eyed Sin.
Nick has always wanted to record and perform his music, and feels that
he and the members FOOLS PARADISE, in conjunction with the release of the CD, have
a strong new beginning. He is so driven that he is doing the research on recording
thier first video. |
